We are getting married in October and not honeymooning till January 2012- when should we meet with a travel agent? Is there a time when prices are the best? We plan on doing 1 week island-hopping in Hawaii, and one week on a cruise around Hawaii.

Just booked our cruise for first week in Feb. 2012. for Hawaii. NCL is running a special now for upgrades. My TA knew I was looking for a Hawaii Cruise and gave me a call. Norwegien Cruise Lines has a 7 day cruise. We booked a balconey room, This is one cruise that you would want a balconey! The ship is beautiful!
Airfare cannot be booked yet. You can book your airfare 370 days from your return date. Bank of America offers a Visa Signature charge card for Alaska Airlines (yes Alaska Air flies to Hawaii) This card offers you a $99 companion ticket to Hawaii and miles to use to upgrade to first class. Go to Alaska Airlines.com and look under their mileage program.
