When should we order our invitations?

When should we order our invitations?

The wedding isn't until May 15th, and our RSVP will be by April 15th. When does everyone think I should order them and when should we send them out? Thanks

I would order them soon. So you have time to assemble them and you want some time in case something comes in wrong or something---or they take a little longer than expected to come in. You want to send them out about 6-8 prior to the wedding date so i think you'll want to send them out by beginning to mid-march right? hope this helps!

Hi, I'm getting married a day before you. I already ordered my invites and received them. However, I did it a little early so you still have time. But I wouldn't wait too long b/c if you want to send them to a calligrapher or address them yourself it's going to take you maybe a week or 2. And then you have to assemble them.

Our RSVP date is April 12 and we're probably going to send them out end of Feb or beginning of March (I'm leaning towards the first week of March, I think end of Feb may be too early).
