When should you start planning the honeymoon?

This may have been asked before but how far in advance to you ladies think I should start making the honeymoon arrangements? (6 months before?)

6 months before is fine! If you don't know where you want to go- start working with a travel agent to get some ideas of what places are good for your time of year. And even if you do know where you want to go, you can work with a travel agent so that they can keep a look-out for deals for you...

It depends where you want to go, and the time of year. We planned our trip 9 months prior to our wedding.

I'd say at least 6 months before is good.

I am getting married on October and we have our honeymoon planned already. I wanted to get another thing off the list and one of the hotels was running a sael, but I think 6 months is fine.

We're really not big planners when it comes to traveling... so I'm not even worried about this part of the wedding planning

I would say about 6-9 months before. We did ours kinda early, just to have the cruise line turn around and cancel our cruise!!

We booked ours pretty much a year in advance...whenever the travel agent was able to get flights....depending on the time of year and destination all matters when to book....they can always make price adjustments...i just didnt want to lose anything...then again I am an early bird with all my stuff
