the inside envelope is the flap suppose to face toward the front or back of the outside envelope? did that make sense?

Re: when stuffing invites...
yes it did - i just got my invites today and was practicing...the front of the inner envelope should be facing the back of the outer envelope....so that when people open the envelope from the back thier name on the inner envelope is the first thing they see! happy stuffing!

Re: when stuffing invites...
The current 'Martha Stewart' weddings has a big article on addressing and stuffing envelops. I bought it just for this reason.
She says yes, put the names on the inner envelope.
Good luck with your invites!!!

I put names on the inner, but not always first names (I had to use 'Mr. & Mrs. XXX' on some, because FH wasn't around to help)

Re: when stuffing invites...
My invitations just arrived yesterday (YAY) and I don't have the final guest list yet (BOO) but I am planning on writing the names on the inner envelopes...just because I like it when people did that for me! I like to see my own name in writing whenever possible!

Re: when stuffing invites...
I don't think I will write the names on the inside....the last two weddings I went to they didn't do it. Maybe I'll take a poll on what everyone did.
