When the wedding was over....

When did it really really HIT YOU, 'omg, the wedding is over. its really over.'

I think it hit me on the plane ride back from our Hm. . . .
But when I walked into the house, and saw my dead bouquet in the entertainment center, I broke down HISTERICSL crying. Dh didnt know what the hell was wrong!

for me it was the first day back at work. it wasn't as 'dramatic' as it was for you, it was just very sad. life kept moving forward.

yeah well my first day back at work after the HM, I lost my VERY NICE paying job cause they needed to do layoffs!
still NOT over it!

My FIL passed away 3 days after we came back from our HM.

We had a quick crash to reality.

the next day when the effects of the champagne wreaked havoc upon mine and DH's body.... we held it together all day in good taste--- but 24 hours later all that called to me was the bed....anfd the saying ' you're an old married lady now!!'

At 5:00 that day when everyone starting leaving my venue. I was like, 'where is everyone going. Please stay'

I cried the ENTIRE day after my wedding. I dont think it was just that the wedding was over.. but I finally took in all of the emotions that I was too hyped up to process the day before.

My poor dh was so upset bc I was upset

when we had to drive back to PA after the honeymoon and John went back to work and I was home all alone!

The night of the wedding, I was so anxious I couldn't fall asleep until 3am. The next day I was crying little in the shower because I missed the whole excitement of getting ready. I still miss it.

I had 3 days after the wedding before the HM & DH went back to work! I woke up one morning & just looked at my hand! It hit me that I was already married & life was back to normal!!!! I wasn't upset though, so happy to have this new beginning!

I was relieved!!!!!!!!!!!

All the stress of planning was OVER!!!!!

I dont miss it one bit Well, maybe a tad bit .

It hit me when we were in the limo on our way to our hotel and DH turned to me and said 'Well, the wedding is all over now.' It was true but I was still sad to hear it said out loud!!!!!

WHAT? My wedding is over?!

Kidding! It hit me at the after party looking at everyone around DH and I, realizing that we were married, and that the celebration, although done in the end of the reception, was just beginning!

Honestly, I am not sure. I don't think I ever had that moment, I was just so happy we were married and the wedding stress and planning were over! If I had to pick a moment, it would probably be when I took my dress off after our after-party.
