does anyone know when u should ask people to be in your wedding? im not gettin married until oct 2010 so i have a lot of time.. but still deciding on what my friendships will be like in the next couple months.. do u think its to early to ask anyone if i waited til march or april?

I think the latest you should wait would maybe be sept or august. A little over a year should be enough time to save money!

We are date twins! So, we can discuss exactly when haha. I was going to wait until a year before, however all my friends would rather get the official invitation sooner so they have more time to save, so I will be doing it sooner rather than later. If there wasn't the money issue, I'd wait until a year before.

YEA!!!! Date Twin... perfect so I can ask u when we should start gettin dj, florist, photographer..and all that good stuff cause I never know when the right time is.. lol.. espcially when I booked so far in advance . Im just glad I dont have to rush anything...![]()
You should wait till maybe august or september..who knows who you'll be tight with at that point.. :)

I think waiting is a good idea. There was a whole thread on the ;09 board today about finding out who your real friends are during the planning process. But if you do decide to wait, I wouldn't invite anyone until youv'e decided to avoid hurt feelings, pressure from other people, etc. I was lucky because I only have like 2 friends and my sister so my decision was easy!

Yayyy yess! I totally agree with not having to rush. My FSIL is getting married at the Inn at New Hyde Park summer 2010 and I just saw it with her when she made a payment. It is beautiful and so huge!!! What a great place for your wedding, let's pray in advance for nice weather haha![]()
