Hotel room blocks? I heard some people inserting the information in with their STD's? Around when do you think I should inquire about this? TIA!

I blocked rooms about a month ago, when I had to submit wording for my invites. We don't really have many OOT guests, so blocking off rooms wasn't a huge deal for us. If you have a lot of people coming from OOT, you may want to shop around a bit.

I'm not sure either, my cousin got married last Oct and she said she booked hers 6 months before the wedding and was having a hard time blocking rooms

I did it as early as possible. It is one less thing you will have to worry about down the road. I sent it with the std's and invites.

we did it about 6 months before the wedding, but since there are alot of RHs in the area, the hotel was completely full the night of our wedding, so it was a good thing we did it in advance

It really depends on the area you are in.
with 4 months to go, I was too late to book, all the hotels in my area were fully booked
