i would do those ASAP. friends of ours are getting married in june of 09 and are having some problems getting vendors they want!!
yes i agree- as soon as we booked our church& RH we booked the major vendors b/c we knew who we wanted to use & it was out of the way
I am getting married 8/21/09, I have already booked my RH, church, photographer, and got my dress. We will be booking the limo and the dj this month. It just makes it easier to have all of the big stuff out of the way. Then you can focus on all of the details! I spoke to a florist and she said that you do not have to book until you get the BM's dresses so that she can match the flowers to a swatch. Hope this helps1
The only major vendor we have to book now is the limos !!!!!!!! I am not looking for dresses and all that other stuff until after the new year !!!!!!!!!

we booked about 9 months in advance and so far...so good (knock on wood) lol
I would start booking those ASAP. My cousin is getting married one week after you, and she just has the hall and band, and I've been trying to let her know that she should just book all the major things now, IMO.
