when to book florist, limos......?

Hi. :) Okay, here's my question. I am getting married next August and I have the church and reception site booked, I have my gown, headpiece and veil, my girls ordered their dresses and I have a DJ and photographer. When do I have to start worrying about a florist, limo, tuxes, invitations, etc.? I live 6 hours away from home, so I will only be on LI during major holidays and school breaks (i'm a teacher). When do I need to get cracking on these other things? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!!!!! :)

There are tons of florist and limo companies on LI most of them will handle multipul events in one day. You can hold your deposit money and save the trip until a few months before your wedding.

Consider their importance...

When we finally set our date, we went on a two month dash to find everything and book it. I didn`t want to find something or someone, get my heart set on them, and then be told they were booked for our date. But that`s me. Some people can shrug that off and go on to the next place they fall in love with. There are plenty of places on Long Island, and there are many places that do great work .. I just didn`t want to go past the first places I loved. For our Sept. (this month) wedding, we booked Flowers by Brian in October (I believe), and Royalty Limos just before Christmas. Invitations were orderd from Bridal Boutique in May, and tuxedos were done at Di Res (next to Royalty) in July.
