When are you going to book your honeymoon? FH and I can't agree on this one.

When we recently booked a vacation to Punta Cana in DR we booked three months before. I think 3-6 months prior to the wedding is plenty of time.

We are going to wait a while...I am a teacher and I don't know the school schedule for April 2006 yet. We will book as soon as we are certain of the date.

I'm already having difficulty with this because we've always dreamed of taking a European cruise but I can't find any that leave after our wedding or even in April. Most are in May. Should we wait and go on our dream HM in May - or do we start looking for something else?

I would go on your dream honeymoon. How often are you going to splurge on a vacation in the future? If you will travel often, then maybe you can postpone your cruise. If you can't/won't travel often then go after the wedding.

we are going to book a honeymoon asap so we can start paying that off little by little. we are going to hawaii. Yikes $$$$$$$$$

I was wondering this too...we're planning for Hawaii. Are the schedules / fares / packages available for 2006 now? I'd love to have it scheduled just so we can daydream about it and know what islands and when...but not sure if it's just too early to get good deals?

I don't think you can purchase air fare for 2006 just yet...But we are looking at a Southern Caribbean Cruise & the itenaries are already posted

It's coming up for me too!! I've also heard that you must wait a year before your wedding before you can start looking

hopefully by march or april...FH will be gettinga new job in May/June so we want to have it booked so he can tell them he needs the time off up front rather than risk not being able to take off!

I just realized you are my date twin!! Actually we are triplets now!! I am a teacher too and we are waiting anxiously for that calendar to come out!!

Well, we know that we definitely want to go on the Alaskan Cruise. In fact, we've known it before we even got engaged...haha! So, I'm just waiting for 2006 books to open up.

I think we are planning to book in the summer. FI and I know that we want a sun & sand HM. We just have no clue where. We were thinking the Carribean but don't know where to go. So if anyone has any suggestions, I am listening!

well i think we pretty much decided...italy is alot more expensive then haiwaii......so i think we are going to haiwaii......not sure yet...
