Re: when to book rehersal dinner??
We tried to do this... and our church wouldn't let you book anything until September for a Nov 6th wedding!
I've heard of other churches doing that as well. They like to make you wait! I think they wait to see if they will need to book other things first.
Just a heads up... I know you are thinking about it now which is good... but check with your church... and don't be surprised if they give you a hard time or ask for you to call back 1-2 months before your wedding.

Haha.. so they are not willing to help across the board then!! I have my own issues with the church!! Hate to say it but they seem like a bunch of dopes!! I called to see how long the aisle is... and the answer I got was 'I don't know'. Nothing else... just I don't know!! No... let me find out and get back to you or call back at this time and this person can help you. Just I don't know. I still don't know how long or wide the aisle is. I'm probably going to have to go there with my own measuring instruments and figure it out for myself! haha!!

I agree with everyone else. Call up your church and see when you can book the rehersal. Then, go from there.
