We booked ours this month, so we are considered 'early' I think, I know a lof people who wait untill about 2-3 months before...we saved on Airfare by booking early....as far as I know it doesnt matter when you book Hotel's, the rates for 2005 always go up and they usually have those rates about 10-11 months before....Some hotels we looked at didnt have 'public' rates for 2005 yet for March...
On our first choice we were gonna book about 11 months in advance and we were saving over $600 on airfare! Thats the only think you will save money on by booking early....I dont think it depends on when you decide and then how much you can put down...some places require a very small deposit, ours was about $1150 for 2 people (deposit)

I'll be booking mine next month...
need to get a move on...when i checked expedia and those other travel sites to give me price ranges....my hotel didnt come up when i went to find out y....no rooms were available...so since its may and seems like things are getting booked quickly...we'll be doing it next month...

we will be booking ours in november, one year before! U definitely get cheaper rates for early booking, but air isnt available until a year prior, i would book it now if i could, one more thing to start paying off lol. Hotel rates are available now for '05, but the package is often cheaper than doing it seperately. I would definitely book sandals soon, i think they offer something like 25% off for early booking, not sure if they still have it!! have fun!
