I know this question has been asked before, but when should the dress be bustled --- should it be bustled for the cocktail hour or should I do it right after the cocktail hour??

even though my dress didn't have much of a train, i bustled it, pretty much right after the ceremony, mostly because i was afraid of it getting caught on the deck and ripping. plus, it was the most convenient that way.

I'm doign mine right after pictures and before cocktail hour. I don't want anyone to step on my dress.

I had mine bustled before we were announced in the Reception Hall.

I bustled mine when I got to the RH. I wanted to go to my CH but did not have time...so it was bustled for our First Dance. HTH!

I left my train long for the 1st dance, after a few songs I went and had it bustled

i didnt not buslte my dress until after we took pictures, and after cocktail hour, since we were taking pictures with our guests at cocktail in front of a waterfall. So I bustled it in the bridal suite right before our entrance to the reception.
...just go along with it...I thought I was gonna bustle it right after pictures cuz I didnt know Id be making it to the CH and taking pictures...you'll just know when its time to bustle it.

I was just thinking about this. I think I'll bustle right before intro. I want to wear the train (not tremendous anyway) to CH for vanity reasons--some people won't go to the church, they need to see my dress in it's entirety. I definitely want to bustle for first dance b/c FH and I are doing a choreographed dance and he'll definitely step on it.
