when to do...

Ok so far I have registered, found and booked my Reception hall, Church, Photographer, Videographer, Band and hotel for wedding night.
When do I do the following:
Flowers
Limo
BM's dresses
Invitations
Favors
Hotel Room Block
Book Rehearsal Dinner
My dress (waiting to lose some weight before shopping how long is too long to wait though)
Ok girls what I have I forgotten

Ive done all the things youve done except the DJ/Band and my hotel for wedding night but I think

Flowers - UP to 6 months before
Limo - up to 6 months before
BM Dresses - 4 months before
Invites - 6 months
Favors - whenever
Hotel room block - 1 year
rehersal dinner - ??
Your dress - Mine takes 6 months to come in so Id say 8-9 before
Of course these are JMO's

Definitely allow yourself as much time as possible for your dress... because you may have a hard time choosing which one and you may want to allow yourself enough time for it to come and make any necessary adjustments to it.

I still need to do my photographer and DJ. But I think the DJ might be a friend of the family so we'll see. I'm planning on waiting a bit on the rest of that stuff because I have some time. I am tried to loose weight too for the dress so I probably won't start looking till the summer time. I need to go down like 2 dress sizes.

alfordk9 - I ordered my dress 2 sizes smaller than I am or was back in November. Its my motivation to loose my fat ass.

that sounds great but with my luck I wouldn't lose enough in time and then it might look strange to have a dress you can't zip

So far we have the hall, rabbi, DJ, photographers,video,dress., also blocked hotel rooms. I got the dress bigger becuase I am big chested so it is big on me all over and they can take it in, looked at BM dresses, picked them out, got BM gifts,. I have left to get flower quotes, get a wrap to cover my shoulders, pick out tuxes, get FG gift, order shoes and book honeymoon. Almost forgot... order invitations, we picked them out. I think I am too organized!

Rob-luvs-me - My dress laces up from my ass to the top of it (strapless) it can be taken in or out 2 sizes according to the maker. YIPPIE FOR ME EVEN IF I DONT LOOSE THE WEIGHT!
