If you pick your final menus 2 weeks before the wedding? How far in advance do you do the menus? I know what we want but I'm just worried if they take something off the menu by then?

maybe ask your rh if they make frequent changes to their menu offerings? otherwise id do it like 6 months before i think is a good time frame. Plus, i dont think the rh could just take something off thier menu when theyve already offered it to you ya know? i would def ask them about it though
We picked our menu 2 months before. I think that is pretty standard so I did my menus last week but I did them myself.
I just did my menus and we still have yet to sit down with the RH until June. The RH already made their new menus/book so I knew they werent going to change it. I did it now to get i out of the way.

I think if you're signing a contract for a specific menu, they would have to honor the items listed on it.
4-6 weeks prior is the perfect time to order your menus and programs. if you order from a big company like william arthur or cranes it will be here in no time!

My RH origionally had Chilean Sea Bass and now they do not offer it - But they said they would hold anything that was origionally on my menu when I signed the contract - So you may be able to negotiate

oh yes they can take things right off.... they did it to our menu... eliminated intermezzo and i spoke with them and said 'it was on the menu when we booked' so they are giving us what was on the original menu... they better LOL
The RH should give you their menu choices. i called just to make sure they would still be offering the same thing. they did, and i made them maybe about 2 mos beforehand. Then I called the RH the week before with our selections.
