Most places advise you to order your bridesmaid dress 3-6 months before hand.

ALTHOUGH I KNOW I HAVE TIME, I AM STARTING TO LOOK THIS COMING SATURDAY. MY WEDDING IS IN JULY OF 04.

I am waiting till January as well, its to early plus all the new stuff will be out in a few months. i am probably going to wait with my gown too, did you get yours?

I didn't realize the new gowns come out in January, but that is the time I am going to do because it will probably be convenient for all the girls.

I started having my BMs go to the shop in October to get measured and hopefully all of them will be measured by February so we can place the order. I have 9!)

I actually just ordered mine last friday. My sister was in town in sepember (probally only time I will see her until the wedding) so we looked. (FOR 9 HOURS) and found the dress.

I am getting married in June and just ordered mine last week. I was told they will come in no later than mid-January - so about three months to give you a timeframe.

I found them already and the girls have been going slowly to try it on. I was told so many different things so, I knew I wouldn't change my mind, we just did it. Very early but I am glad that parts over

Yes, I already ordered my gown. It could take 5 months to come in because it is hollow to hem. Thanks for all the advice. It seems too soon for me to start looking now when I don't have a photographer, videographer, florist, limos, etc... I think I am going to start looking in Jan/Feb!

my suggestion would be to start looking in the begining of 04. Give yourself some time to really look around and find the dress you like.

I ordered my dress yesterday, my girls came with me to see if they could find anything, they did. Their dresses will take about 3-4 months to come in, then they need time to alter them.
