When to get Bridesmaids dresses

Is it too soon to start looking at bridemaids dresses?? there is one dress that i really love and now i'm afraid that when it comes time to have the girls try them on and order that it might be discontinued?

i will start looking in the summer with my girls...i wouldn't order until at least 8 months to the wedding some order up to 6 months to the wedding...it depends you have to ask how long it will take

yeah i think its a little soon now...the girls may lose or gain weight, you might end up seeing something different you like, and you need to worry about the girls storing their dresses.

i agree with waiting till about 8 or 9 mths before.

I agree. I'm gonna start looking at the end of next fall which will be about 10 months before

I just ordered mine with my bm, even a year is too early, but the only reason I did it so early is bc one of my bm is from FL and she was up for the holidays. I really wanted her to be a part of the dress selection.

I had the same concern...

I emailed the designer and asked if they new of any dresses that would be discontinued. They said the dress I liked was def going to stay available...

Just a suggestoin

i am going to start having them try dresses on around the same time i do mine...I will make sure they order them about 8 months before the wedding though to make sure there is enough time
