When to get DOC

When do you girls recommend actually booking a DOC? How far in advance?

I guess you can book whenever you feel like. If you have someone in mind that's high in demand I would book as soon as you can.

At whatever point you are ready to commit to someone and know it will make you feel better in preparing for the wedding. (And have the funds available.)

Some DOCs can provide you with help even while you're planning, including recommending vendors or being available for some advice. That can definitely be a benefit of hiring someone sooner.

I got my DOC immediately. Christine Viola from Exquisite Affairs. She has been great so far. I bug her pretty often with my worries. She's awesome. Plus she has alot of vendors to refer.

I booked my about 5 months ago and i am not getting married until Jan. She has been helpful with ideas and resources.

I agree. I have Lisa from Elite Affairs and she has been a lifesaver. I love her.
