when to give bp gifts

When do you plan on giving the bridal party their gifts?

i believe they are typically distributed at the rehersal dinner, but I want to do it earlier -- is that bad?

I think rehearsal dinner because thats the time before the wedding we will all be together

We also gave them at the RD.

When in a bp I always received them at the RD too.

I think you can give them out whenever you want, but I plan to do it at the RD...this way the whole bridal party with be there...

i have gotten one at a shower once before which was nice.... but def do not wait until after the wedding--- my frineds just had this happen to them and they thought they were getting nothing bc the wedding and come and pass.

We will do it at the RD. Every time I have been in a wedding, that is when I got my gift (other than getting mai/pedi paid for the day before the wedding)

I was thinking about getting my girls a clutch to use on the day of the wedding...but I feel like the RD is a little late for that because they'll already have something to carry the day of the wedding (I don't want them to buy something when I'm giving the gift)...should I do it earlier??

im planning on doing the RD but im giving them a heads up that they dont need to get their jewelry - they also are getting other things though so there will still be SOME surprise

this is my problem!! i wanted to get them sweats to wear the morning of when we were getting ready and some other cute things -- i may do it earlier and have them all over for a get together so they know its there and then maybe do the expensive stuff the day of the RD.

They know they're getting the jewelry, but there are some other things, like flip flops and towels etc. to wear while getting ready, and I want it to be extra special, not in front of 50 people at the RD.

I like this idea of the special lunch and mani/pedis... the RD is on a Friday but if they are all taking off then it will work
