When to give favors at Engagement Party?

Hi Ladies,

I have a question...I was thinking of putting my favors for the engagement party on the table, as part of the decor. But I only have enough for 1 per family. I am worried that if I put them on the tables, that people will take more than one. Should I set up a little table and give them out as people leave or do I keep them out of sight and go get them as people leave? What are your thoughts?

ppl will take them all...
either give them out or make little tags for each one of them with everyones name.

I had all my favors on one table in an open box. Nobody took it until I gave them out.
