when to give groom his gift?

should i give it to the best man to give to him as he's getting ready?
or should i give it to him when i first see him? (doing pics before ceremony)

(as a bride - hope not to be coming over here and unwanted...but wanted to add my 2 cents!)

i gave my present to our best man so my dh could open it on the day.....doing it when you see him might be too much - there's so much to do on that day that it might interfere schedule wise, etc.....rh dinner is a good idea too - to be honest, i never thought of it!

FH is getting ready on our apartment w/ his best man, so I think I''m going to just put it someplace and just tell him where it is to give to him, the morning of the wedding.

But if you are taking pics before, then you could give it to him then, do it as soon as he gets there or whatever, so you don't forget

I will be giving it to our BM to give to him while he is getting ready. FH doesn't think I will be getting anything, so it will be a surprise.

I gave it to DH the night before...we had a little alone time after the family dinner. He loved it and I was glad I got to see his face while he opened it.

fh is checking into the hotel to get ready the day of the wedding so i will have the hotel give him an OOT and his present will be inside(a flask and cigar holder to match the groomsmen)!
