Im getting married on Aug. 26. When should I schedule my 1st fitting for??

The seamstress I am using said she won't start alterations until 6 weeks before the wedding at the most.

Ask your bridal salon - they know how quickly they work and how much time they'll need.

I would say late June/ early July. Usually takes about 8 weeks (2 months).

I went yesterday for 4/8. Two months should be enough time.

6 weeks before is the general rule.
