when to host bachelorette party?

Hi ladies

Besides being a November bride, I'm also a March 2005 MOH and July 2005 BM.

How long before the wedding is the best time to plan/host the bachelorette party? One month? Sooner? Later?

Also, anybody have good ideas/suggestions? Not too expensive? Some ideas I've had are spa day and dinner? If it's not too expensive, even a spa weekend? Some other girly weekend away? Help please!

I was a MOH last year, and due to the bridesmaids schedules we chose to have the bachlorette party 3 weeks prior. She didn't suspect a thing. We had a great time and it gave her more than enough time to relax and enjoy the final countdown to her wedding.

I don't know how expensive this would be, but I would like to go out to the wineries and do some wine tasting..then goout to dinner..but I guess you have to like that sorta thing also..
