When to order

bridesmaid dresses? How many months before the wedding did you have your girls place in their orders.

My girls ordered their dresses in early January. They came in late April I believe.

I believe you should order about 4-6 months before the wedding.

we ordered them 7 months before and they stil arent here and i am getting married in 4 weeks lol!

Ordered in September, should be delivered by January. Several factories in China shut down for the entire month of February ( I think ) and so we needed to make sure we got them before then.

For my FSIL, they're placing the order the first week in October, the girl at the shop said they should be in by early February. My FSIL is getting married mid May. Fingers crossed this time line sticks. :)

My girls had to place their orders by Dec. 21 2010 for my May 21 2011 wedding.

If orders were placed after that, 'rush order fees' were charged.

We picked out the dresses in October.
