We were originally going to get married in October but got a great offer and decided to get married in June. YIKES!! when do I start ordering the dresses? Im like 7.5 months away!

don't worry you still have time...most dresses take about 4-6 months to come in so i would at least start looking to see what you like.

I was told that for my June wedding, my girls need to order by the 1st of the year. My girls are actually going to order them on November 15.

We order the BM dresses in August and we rec'ved them 6 weeks later (yay) even thought they told me 10-12 weeks I was glad they where early! General it takes 12 weeks and allow at least one month for fittings I would place the order January/ February but if you found the dress and the girls have the deposit then you could order the anytime!

Im getting married in July and we ordered the dresses two weeks ago. I dit that just incase there is a prob with the order. Then again I do everything early because I don't deal well with stress..lol

My bm dresses are from Priscilla of Boston and, for our June 25 wedding, they wanted the order placed by the first week in November.

I have heard usually 4 months before....they take about 5-6 weeks to come in I think?? plus, if they need any alterations? I would probably order it in Feb if I were you?

I would say to just start getting some ideas so whenever you do go shopping its not gonna be a really long process. My girls dresses are taking about 3 months to come in. I think red is fine for the summer, or anytime of year !! My girls are gonna be in navy blue for an april wedding lol Go with whatever color you like

I don't think red is too dark for any month in a wedding. But that's why it's good to start looking now and shopping for colors and themes.

our wedding is in April & the bridesmaids dress where ordered end of September. 7 months before & the women in the store was having a heart attack that i waited that long.

I was also thinking navy and white dresses. im not sure yet though. I like alot of alfred angelos colors. anyone using his line for BM dresses? and if so where did you go for them?
