I think it's finally hitting me that our wedding is only 5 and a half months away (less than that!)
When should I order my invites?
I want to send them out 2 months before the wedding... should I order them soon?
I plan to get them from a store on long island, not order them online.

i would order them soon..because they take like 4-6 weeks to come in..and then you have to stuff them..maybe assemble them..and address the envelopes to..or bring them to a calligrapher..
i would do it within the next 2 or 3 weeks..thats just me
my wedding is next feb and im ordering them within the next month

I would do it soon. Last year we ordered our invites in Janaury for our June wedding. They came in 2 weeks but I had to have the RSVP envelopes fixed, so that was another week.
Then we got them out the last week of March. I'm a big beleiver in giving yourself extra time to do something, esp with the wedding, you don't want to be rushed and stressed at the end.

My wedding is in 4 months and I just placed the order for the invitations.

I would order them no less than 4 months from your date. So even if they take a month to come in, you still have a month to have anything fixed if something comes wrong, and to address all the envelopes, etc.
