When to order my dress??

Hey Ladies,

I'm getting married 6/28/09 and was wondering if its too early to order my wedding dress. I'm getting married on long island but the FH and I just moved to NC and i'll be in NY this coming week and am pretty sure what dress I want already. Is it too early to order it now? Thanks for your opinions

I say go for it! If you know what you want and it works for you to do it now then definitely do it!

Well Ok you read about my dilema yesturday and I knew for 4 months what dress I definately wanted ... I tried on others in 3 different stores but always went back to that one dress... I orderded it yesturday and they told me that It was due to be in in March of 08!! so thats a long time! she said it takes an average of 6-12 months to get a wedding gown in !!! so thats something to think about if your going with a specific designer... The only thing I would worry about is ... Is your taste going to change ... I think I bugged out yesturday because I actually ordered it ... (I think if I was just going to look at dresses and saw that beautiful bride I wouldn't have fell in love with her dress as much... Its all in my head!) So I hope this helped you to decide ... hpwever I am only getting married a month and 1/2 before you and I ordered mine yesturday

Sorry ladies I'm going with wait a little while. No need to rush look around. Styles change prices change.
I'm a winter bride, I'm waiting until the end of this winter to start looking.
I know everyone is sick of hearing we have time , that was another reason why I'm waiting.

Thanks girls so much!! I'm going to go look around a bit more when i'm back in NY but i think i may order it. I know I really love it!! =)
