My final fitting is 2 weeks before the wedding and the salon wants me to take my dress then. Is that normal or do most people leave it there until a day or two before their wedding? The salon is moving so I am guessing that is why they want me to take it but I am concerned.
I picked up mine June 4 for my July 9 wedding....that is early but my mom was down in DC where I live and transported back to NY....I think 2 weeks is ok...just need to find a place to lay it out....the less time the better though.

I thought you normally dont get it until right before. I picked mine up wednesday for a friday wedding.
I think i'm going to pick it up the Monday before the wedding... she said I can pick it up the Night before, but I'll be nervous...
