i did already- it's over a year for me, but i only registered because im having an engagement party adn wanted to have stuff in case anyone wanted to buy me something ( im not expecting gifts but i wanted to give my guest the options) my E-party is in may

i think in a couple of weeks. i was planning on doing it later but FMIL's friends are asking if we're registered. So we're doing it for them more than anything so they can stop bothering my FMIL

I set up our registeries at:
Crate and Barrel
Macys
Williams-Sonoma
A lot of the basic stuff will always be available but if I have something on there that is seasonal or has been replaced by a newer version, the stores will send you an email letting you know what is being discontinued and what they suggest you replace it with.
I did a lot of the actual registering online. Only Crate and Barrel I went to the store (since there is one right by my job) and had fun with the scanner gun LOL. Plus I like to see some of this stuff in person.
Things like out dinnerware and bedding I am actually going to wait until we are closer to when the shower might be because that stuff gets discontinued a lot.

we registered in January. BB&B we were going to to macys too but i pretty muc hfound everything in BB&B that i would need.

We just did last weekend. I wanted to get that done and have everything updated on the wedding website before we send out the STD's in April.

i have no clue! We prob wont until the summer.

We registered in January, right before our E-party. It still needs tweaking though. We only had one person use the registry so far.

I'tll probably be a little while, maybe 9 month before... I don't want to run the risk of picking things now and then they get removed from inventory or become unavailable for some other reason... and then have to go go everything all over again. Annoying!

We haven't yet lol it's on our to do list.
We didnt register for the e-party b/c etiquette says you aren't supposed to - basically b/c you arent supposed to bring a gift to an e-party and by registering you are telling people you expect a gift.
I also didn't want to take things away from the registry and not have it available for the shower since our e-party was kinda early in the game - but the biggest reason, I have no place to put the gifts LOL i live at home and so does FH.
But we are looking to do so in the next couple weeks - def be done by the end of April.

I have been registered for a while now... everyone at work was hounding me to get registered so that they could buy me engagement presents... so that's the main reason hehe

I agree! I sent out E-party invites and a few people have asked if we were registered anywhere. I felt that it was too soon to be registered being that our wedding is a year and a half away. I always felt like that was something you did closer to the bridal shower and wedding.
I remember one of my friends received a ton of gifts from the e party. She had no room to put anything and didn't need half of it!

I plan to do Macy's BB&B and myhoneymoonwishes.com or some other honeymoon website.
I'll probably do it within the next month because we are buying a house so although it's totally unrelated to the wedding, if someone asks me if I'm registered anywhere with the intent of buying a housewarming gift, I can just punt them to my wedding registry!
