Wedding date is September 3, 2004...I assumed we could register in March - is this too early, too late, ok? Thanks!

Re: When to Register?
I am getting married about a week after you (September 18, 2004) and I registered about a month ago. It is never to early to register.

Re: When to Register?
We just did and someone already bought something. We are having an e-party in Sept.

Re: When to Register?
I just registered the other day. Its great to get all the small stuff done online. I'll save most of the big stuff for 'in person' scanning. Its good to get it out of the way.

Re: When to Register?
We're not having an e-party...so I didn't think we needed to do it so early. Lisa - wow! - already registered?!
My tastes and ideas change so often, I'd hate to be locked into something and then regret it after someone already bought it.

We are not having an e-party either but we did so that it was over with. We have done almost everything already for the wedding.

Re: When to Register?
we had fun. I did the small stuff on line, and we just did china this past tuesday (which I am happy he liked the pattern I liked). I went on today to make sure we did not dup what's on-line and someone already bought a baking pan and untensiles. I can't believe it

Re: When to Register?
It might be a good idea to do it before Christmas since people may want to get you a gift from your registry this year. That's what my family suggested me to do!

Ooooh, Gabriella - that's a good suggestion. I never even thought of that! Thanks.

Re: When to Register?
I'm registering as we speak. Told FH i was going to do the small tedious things online (which he was thrilled about, hes not into the registering) and we can do 'big' stuff like silverware and pots in the store. I'm doing all electric stuff online too. I threatened to register for the 'ugly pillows' that i love but he hates. (i have a thing for funky pillows... our couch is so plain!)
I'm having a hard time deciding what to pick from fortunoff and what to pick at bed bath and beyond... hmmm
we're not having e-party either... but like you said, christmas is coming. So's my birthday.

Re: When to Register?
hi everyone !! im new !!
I went to the BB&B website and printed a list out.. its a checkoff and when you are ready bring it to the store.. and pick out the exact item!!
Tracy.. i was having the same problem.. what to register for from Fortunoff and BB&B.. i think im going to do the everyday cool things from BB&B and the nicer, finer things from Fortunoff !!

Re: When to Register?
you can register whenever you want - i did it almost right after the engagement because i ws soooo excited about picking out all of that stuff. and even if you're not having an e-party - people might want to buy you engagement gifts anyway! we recieved gifts from our registry from people before our e-party. people love to give gifts for weddings! and a registry helps them out!!! and it's a lot of fun because you get to pick out everything you ever wanted!!!!
