i finally got a call that my dress is in. now i have to schedule my 1st fitting. I figured going a month before would prob be better so it reduces the risk of my body changing at all due to weight gain/loss... but do u think that is too late?

I was told 6 weeks before. I just did mine on Tuesday.
i was told 2 months!
I did mine almost 2 months exactly out from the date. It was nice because I had time between my 1st and 2nd fittings. But a month before should be okay, too, if you're comfortable with the fittings being so close together.
