When to schedule make up trials

My wedding is June 26 2005...and I'm getting differing opinions as to when to start make up trials, one woman that came highly recommended, maureen pedala, was already booked for my date, so I got a little nervous!!!

I'm getting married Aug 27, 2005 and I have a trial scheduled for Sept 27th. She is very good and books up extremely fast so I figured I would try her out ASAP.

I would say do it now, the more popular make-up artistis will book up fast

I would do it sooner rather than later...I booked mine last month and my wedding is in July 2005.

Wow I didn't realize that I needed to schedule it so early. I feel like I am doing everything now and I won't have anything to do later!!!!!

I had the same situation.

My opinion: You will be able to find someone from a salon near where you are getting married a couple of months before. THere is no way that EVERYONE who does makeup and hair will be booked.

However, if you want one of the popular hair and makeup vendors that come to you, you should book a trial soon. I emailed Oksana a year and 2 months before the wedding (thinking she would think I am crazy) and she was booked!

i have 8 months. I havent booked anyone yet. My friend was going to do it but now she cant. I dont think i will have a problem. You do have time but if you are nervous do it now.

I'm getting married on July 30, 2005 and I started back in August when I called 2 artists who were already booked. Like you, I started to get nervous. It seems like the really good ones book early from my experience.
