when to send?

i should be gettin my std in the mail today!!! if i mail them this may/june is that to early? a year in advance? when are you sending yours?

I think a year in advance is fine, but I wouldn't send them out too much earlier than that.

We sent ours out in January for our August wedding - BUT we had only gotten engaged in October.

We got engaged in October '06
Getting married in October '07
Sent STD on Valentine's Day '07 (8 months before wedding)

The usual rule of thumb with STD's is that you send them 6-12 months before the wedding.
