When to send invites?

When to send invites?

Ok my wedding is June 25

Our RSVP date is May 15

When should the invites go out? This weekend? In the next week or 2?

They should arrive in the mail April 15th, So the wed before April 15th is perfect.

Dont send them earlier. People WILL loose them and 'forget' to RSVP.

I'm aiming to start mailing on 3/25, with the hopes that all invites will be out by 4/8. Hope that helps!

We also have a B list- so I was thinking of sending a bit earlier?

exactly why we left no room for forgetting. We sent them out on Feb 26th and the RSVP date is March 31st. So we gave them about 5 weeks to get the invite and send back the RSVP. I feel like if the guest has the invitation in hand for a while before the RSVP they will never remember to send it back and then you have to start making the phone calls.

I agree with this. Especially if you have a lot of OOT guests

My date is 5/21. My RSVP is April 20th. I sent mine out this past Wednesday. People on LI received them yesterday. OOT received them today. That's PLENTY of time! It only takes a couple of days for them to arrive!
