my FIL's are handling the rehearsal dinner and inivtes haven't gone out yet. And my wedding is July 28. I'm not even sure if invites exist. My FH tells me of course they have invites...but I just don't know what to do!

I made my own and sent them out 2 weeks before. I did not include an RSVP, just a phone number.

i had to make mine. i sent them out a few weeks ago...i think typically theyare supposed to go out 1 month before...so ideally your RSVP date. really it doesn't much matter as all of the invitees are comign to the wedding.
you can either order more invites like your wedding ones...i mean, that is....they don't sell 'RD invites' so to speak....but any invite can be made aRD one...it's the wording that changes it.
some people do simple cards and some invite similar tothe wedding invites..i've seen both.

Like Carissa, I also made mine and sent them out about 2 weeks prior. I put my phone # and asked everyone to RSVP just so we knew for sure who was coming!!

1month or less before is fine, most people will know the date and time already, but the invites are just a nice touch. we made printed our own with blank invites from target and put a regrets only rsvp with our #.
