when to send out STD's??

Wedding is in early June. Not many OOTers... when should I send them out. I already have them?

I'd say by 9 months before and you'd be fine. However, if you want to send them out earlier, I think anytime a year before or later is appropriate!

We're sending them out b/t 11 & 12 months before, but we're having it in CT so EVERYONE is an OOTer.

I am going to send mine out 12 months before but FH's entire family and all of his friends are from out of town.

I would say 9-10 months before if you don't have that many OOTers.

I say depending on the type of std you have... If they are just like a piece of paper, and there are no out of towners i would wait till about 8-9 months before. I say that bc a lot of people misplace them, or they get thrown out on accident. If you did magnets, i say send away. Just less likely they will end up being misplaced since they stick to the fridge.

Hi Date Twin! I want to send mine out no later than the end of July. I'm having my mom and FMIL get their address lists together for me in the next week or so that way I can start doing my envelopes.

I think if you are going to send them out at the 12 month mark to try and have the hotel info with it, especially for OOTers. I am waiting until June / July for my May wedding, because I want to do hotel blocks first.

See... i contacted the hotel for the room block and they said I cant set anything up until Spetember for room blocks. I included my website on my STD and made them into magnets.... We were supposed to do a destination wedding so some of the guests still think we are doing that...but most people know we aren't . Do you think the room block should be done first.. PS on that note anyone been to the Glen Cove Mansion? thanks L

Most of my guests will be OOTers too and im sending the saves the dates 12 months in advanced but idk when to send out the invites? Any ideas?

Invites go out approx 2 months before the wedding
