when to send out the STD's

Hey girls, what do you think about the time frame for sending out STD's. Our wedding is just shy of one year away and I really wanted to wait to order the STD's until we got our e-pics back. We should be taking them next month. I've been told that I should send the STD a year in advance, especially since the wedding is on Memorial Day weekend. What do you think? When will it be pushing it?

i think if you have them out by the end of the summer it will be enough time!

I have not taken my E-pics plan on doing it in July. We are very behind with that. I heard that you could send STD's even 6 months before the wedding, but I would want to send it sooner.

I read somewhere you can send them 6-8 months before the wedding. Over a year would be good too.

I wanted to do a year too (we are getting married the weekend before Easter/Passover/Spring Break) but my STD's came in later than I expected .. I needed to make changes from the original sample so it's kind of my fault..

but my plan is out before June!

Thanks girls! I was getting worried because there was no way I'm getting them out a year before. But it sounds like it's completely OK to wait and 6 to 8 months is more than enough time!

I'm Memorial weekend too and I'm sending mine in August because FH & I haven't even taken pics yet. I'm sooo behind in planning.

i just started sending mine out-but we did ours ourself and i had the extra time to finish them...i just wanted it over with and out of my room haha

Mine are going out in two weeks, after I've booked all the hotel blocks, because an insert is going to direct people to the website . . . . .

They're in the envelopes and ready to go!!

I just received my STD's yesterday so I will be sending them after the holiday, but I am getting married Memorial Day weekend as well so I think at least 8 mos for a holiday weekend.

I think if you take your pics next month and you send them out by the middle of July you'll be fine..thats def. enough notice!

I also want to use my e-pic for the STD's and I should get them back soon. I am going to send them out a year in advance b/c I am getting married 4th of July weekend

According to the booklet I got from Magnet Street yesterday, the average time to send out the STDs are between a year and 6 months... I am probably sending mine out around September so I think you definitely have enough time!!
