Hi Can anyone advise me on when to send the 'Save the Date' magnets if I am getting married July 14,07? Thanks for your help!

i think you can send them whenever you want...
we included ours in the invitation to our engagement party (Sept 05) for our wedding in June 07. Wehad the STDs made into magnets so people could put it on their fridge and can't forget about it!! :)

Anywhere from a year to 9 months before is usually when everyone does it

im sending them in july for a april wedding..so about 9 months before
but you can do it whenver you want...there is no set time when u should

I'm sending mine as soon as I get the cards from the hotel where I blocked rooms, which will be this October, so roughly a year in advance.

I'm sending mine with the Thank You notes from the e-party. (I know its quick, and its a whole lot a drama) They were supposed to be the coverlette for the favor CD's we had made but FFIL made a goof and I didn't check it till the day of, etc. So we are making a smaller version.
I'm an idiot I forgot to tell you the date. They are going out in the mail this week, so just under a year to go!

I dont know I have mine already made up .. And i want to send them out now .. But im gonna wait untill after the summer My date is 9/07 so I guess i can send then in aug or Sept.

I'm getting married July 8th and I sent it out today. I actually used them as 'engagement announcements' kinda too because I am n ot having an eparty.

gave my at my engagement party in Sept of 2005 for my March of 2007 wedding. Whoever I was inviting to the wedding that was not invited to the engagement party i sent their save the dates in January. So i think now would be a good time especially b/c youre getting married in the summer and people sometimes plan vacations early.
