How long before the wedding should I send the STD? 1 year? 6 month?. I'm cluless my wedding will be on the weekend before easter and alot are coming from out of state.

I know a lot of people say 6 months. I am sending mine over a year in advance. I don't think it really matters, it is an informal notice anyway.

I'm sending a year in advance because my wedding is the Friday of Labor Day.

I sent mine out in February and I am getting married in November...SO I did about 9 months before...

I sent ours out 9 months in advance. Our wedding is on Saturday between Christmas and New Years.
