I am getting married on 7/4/2011. Since its a holiday I want to send STDs so guests who want to come can plan accordingly and can book the hotel without a problem. How far in advance to you girls think I should send them?? thanks :)
Etiquette says for a holiday weekend you can send as early as a year in advance. Since you missed the mark I would say the sooner the better. Personally I think as long as its 8 months before at minimum then you are fine!
I would say that you should send them out within the next month or two.
I am getting married July 3rd and I am sending the rest of mine out next week, Most of them went out though already when we sent out the engagement pary invites.
Just make sure they are not too close to the holidays, so late October, early November to receive would be best.

You should send them now! They should be sent at least 8months before a wedding. And for a holiday weekend it should be about a year. I think I sent mine at about the 10month mark, I wanted it to be at one year but my epics had to be rescheduled so I couldn't make them when I wanted.
