how late is too late? when did you send them out, or do you aim to have them out?

I'm still waiting to get my wedding photos which will be used on the thank you notes, so I think it's not unrealistic to send them out after 2 months...

I got mine out at just over three months. Some people complained they took too long, but they were older and don't understand about the process of today's thank you cards. My friends all thought I got them out really fast.

Better late than never, but we started sending ours out 2 or 3 weeks after the wedding and had them all out by the 2 month mark. Our guests were very generous and deserved to be thanked in a timely manner.

It depends on the # of thank you's you have to write. It's never too late.
