So my MOH/Sister suggested a day, I passed it along to FH's sister/BM...then today when I wanted to firm everything up and actually make the appointment, all sorts of excuses come up now. I'm sick of it already!!!!
Need help before I jump off the ledge!!

that is annoying...i would come up with 2 alternate dates and ask that they try to free up their schedules for one of the days...if that doesnt work i would tell them to figure out a day that works for them within your timetable (ie within the month etc)

Since we're so near the end of the month...should I say it has to be before Memorial Day?
I mean I know this time of year is hectic with communions/baptisms/Mother's Day, but COME ON!!! Make it work, no?

Ugh I'd try and set up 2 more days, and if it fails, you'll have to get serious and say listen, we all need to go dress shopping, send me your schedules and you'll have to coordinate them.
A lot of extra work, but maybe the only way unfortunately.

Schedule it a month or two in advance. When I went wedding dress shopping, thats what i had to do (bc i had so many people coming with me). it was the only way to get everyone together at the same time.

Technically you still have some time...Why not wait until the summer and then go for drinks somwhere outside afterwards...It would be like a treat for everyone after shopping...And everyone likes to be out in the nice weather!

i havent scheduled with my girls yet to go bm dress shopping but i just worked out when we would go to look for my dress. In stead of asking them a yes or no to a date, i said these are the dates that will work for me, which one will work for you better? Seemed too surprisingly not be so much trouble. But I understand that with bm dress shopping, they must be there, its not like if they cant make it to go wedding gown shopping, then they just wont come. Just in general, try to pose things with not that many choices and then dont give them the chance to say a yes or no, but rather a real answer and a decision.
ooops sorry, to actually answer the question that this started out as, i think the summer would still be enough time

I think the best thing to do is go with your MOH first, try on a bunch of stuff...then try to narrow it down to maybe 2 or 3 dresses, bring back all the girls and have them try on those 2 to 3 dresses and make a decision from there. I found this worked best b/c when I had all 4 girls there, it wasn't like each girl was trying on a thousand different things. We were there for like 30mins, and then I wasn't wasting anyones time. They try them on quick, give opinions and then you have the final say. Good luck!!! HTH!!!
