Defin not too early to book the hall. I know someone getting married in Oct 2004 and has already booked the hall. (especially since october has become such a popular month!) Good luck w/ your planning!

It is never to early to start looking and booking anything. I am getting married in Sept. 2004 and I have already booked the church, hall, videographer, photographer, DJ. I ordered my gown, picked out BM dress (had a few already order these) and I have already purchased a little of little things.

no way - you realize that it's only a year and a half before your wedding???? it'll come b4 you know it! it seems like FH and I just got engaged yesterday, and we did in 5/02!!!

Start everything! All the good vendors book up quickly! You'll be left with over priced or not as good people.

never too early. We got engaged Sept 13 and 3 weeks later we had the church and hall.

I lost my job and I finally got a temp job and we booked photo and video within a week.

I am back to being out of work so we put off looking at DJ's, Limo's and florist for a little.

You should definatly look into booking things because when you feel like taking a break from wedding stuff you can. You can also pay things off over time and not feel as strapped for cash on some days

I am the beginning of november 2004 and we have the reception hall, flowers, limos, photo, and i ordered my dress and we're working on DJ now. It's never too early and you want to lock in prices and get the good vendors and have your choice in all areas! I'm buying everything that I can little by little just to get started! This way you know what you will need to save!

Before you start booking halls - go with a general head count!!! It will let you search more efficiently
