When to start fittings?

When to start fittings?

I'm using a family seamstress for my fittings.

When should I go for my first?

My dress doesn't 100% fit, and I really would like to lose more weight. The length fits great w/my shoes, just need to lose some boobage and arm fat

My first fitting is exactly six weeks to the big day!

When I go and try it on in 2 weeks, I will see how big it is and the extent of the alterations needed. If I don't need many alterations, prob 6 weeks before.....otherwise, it will be sooner

i got so excited, i had my 1st fitting 6 MONTHS before!!! (it was more altering for the length)

i'm having my last (or second to last) this Saturday.

i would do it early and go for as many as you can just in case you have any issues
