I just booked Fox Hollow last night (woo hoo!). Am so relieved that the reception hall search is finally over!
Does anyone have any insight as to how soon I should look for a dress? Also, do the Manhattan boutiques carry all sizes, or just tiny-model sizes?

HOORAY!!! CONGRATS!!!! I would say by January you should be looking for dresses although there is nothing wrong with going now!
Im getting married next December - I just booked my RH a few weeks ago!

I've learned that some dresses can take up to 9 months to come in, especially those from high end designers.
I just started my dress shopping for my August 2011 wedding.

First off, congrats, Fox Hollow is beautiful! I'd start dress shopping soon! It might take you a few trips to find the one you really love! I was told by the salon that my dress could take up to 9 months to come in, but it got there in 2 months instead! As for the sizing, it really depends on the salon, most of the ones I tried on were about a street size 8 but no matter what the size, the people working there can really work magic to give you a good idea of how the dress will look once it's fitted to you.
