when to take e-pics

Getting married next August and I'm not really sure when we should take our e-pics? how far in advance do people take them before their wedding? I wanted a summer wedding because Im a teacher and all but FH always liked a winter wedding and with my schedule that couldnt happen. Did anyone take their epics in the winter? if so where did you go?

I took mine in February, but we took ours in the photographer's studio.

Winter epics could be so cute. You could take them when it snows and be al bundled up....Any park would work or even by the beach. I love the beach in the winter. Could be some amazing pics

My wedding is in the summer also. I'm thinking of taking my pics in the fall at a park so that it changes it up a little from our wedding pics.

I think doing your e-pics in the Winter is a great idea! All your wedding pictures will be 'summer-esque' so this will be a nice change of scenery, literally!

I am taking mine a little over a year in advance just so we can use them on the STDs...

I think the city would be great for winter e-pics... all the Christmas lights are up, the windows are decorated... it would be a nice contrast to your summer wedding!!!

a lot of people use their epics for their STD pictures.
im not sending STD so theres no rush for us to take epics.
we're also getting married in the summer so we're taking out epics in the winter. HOPEFULLY it will be snowing or snow on the ground!! we're planning on going to central park, some pics on a horse and buggy ride, the tree (our first date in 2004 ) and some with the top of the rock in the back ground (where we got engaged)

i would take them when you want if your photographer allows it... i know for mine, he will not take my e-pics until 2 months before

i'm an August bride too! we're having our e-pics taken this fall and next spring because i told the photographer that i like the colors of those 2 seasons.

We are taking ours a year before the wedding so I can use them as the save-the-date

Same here! August Bride, taking them in the fall. i already have a cute dress and pairing them with boots! im so excited!!! just have to book the photographer!
