When touring venues

I booked my venue so long ago but these are a few that I can remember:
How many weddings in a day? How private is your affair from theirs? Should you decide on getting married at the venue, are you able to use your own officiant? With the alcohol provided, are you allowed to substitute others in the replace of the ones they provide (beers, specific vodka, whiskey, wines) Do people have to go to a bar for or drink or is there table service? Pay attention for the prices you are being charged for (administrative fees, gratuity is that included as well as the maitre d' and bridal attendant) If you are having children in attendance, do you pay the same amount per plate as for an adult? Do they provide up lighting or is that something you will have to ask your DJ to provide? Do they supply menu for the dinner? How far in advance can you do a tasting? In our case we are getting married in January and we asked if the decorations for the holiday would still be up? Preference of chair covers or no chair covers? These are just a few that I remember and will post any more should I remember.

There are so many things to remember to ask! But, try to sit down and think about what is most important to you and your FH and make sure you ask lots of questions related to those things! Good luck!
