when was your shower?

I know this should be a surprise, but my mom and sisters need a lot of help so I've kinda been a little involved planning my shower. I'm not sure for when, but I know they are planning it at least a month and a half before the wedding. Is that too early? When was yours?

i am having mine VERY early (this weekend actually...i didn't want to be surprised!). because my sister (& MOH) goes away to school, and this is when she is home!

I figured mine out,,they tried to throw me off. I am getting married in OCt, and the shower is the end of JUne. I don't think a month and half is too early at all. Don't want to make the shower too close to wedding, people will feel like they just gave you a present last week when the wedding comes.

Mine was February 21st and my wedding was April 17th.

Mine was exactly 2 months but I just went to one this weekend and her wedding isnt for 3 months!

I found out that mine is July 19th.

Mine worked out to be 3 months to the day

Mine was 7 mos before... My mom dod it this way to throw me off and so that I have everything I need when we started fining the house

Mine was a surprise because it was so early. MY shower was on March 27th and my wedding isn't until July 31st. They did it early so I would be truly surprised cause I thought it would be late May or June sometime.

Mine was August 10th & our wedding was October 3rd.
