I can't stop worrying about a miscarriage. I just want to relax and enjoy being pregnant and be excited but I am so scared.
Does this ever go away?

Re: When will I stop worrying????
I started feeling a lot better at 24 weeks when the baby started kicking more regularly. I always find that reassuring. Of course now I worry about a safe labor and delivery. After that I imagine I'll worry a lot about SIDs. Then I'll worry about my toddler falling down stairs. I think that as parents we've signed on for a lifetime of worry!

You will stop worrying when you die... hopefully. Once there is the idea of even having kids the grey hairs start to pop out. A moms job is to worry.
Just relax and hope for the best.

This is what I hear!! I worried about m/c for the first few weeks... now I worry about the health of the baby, then I'm sure I'll worry about delivery, etc etc
As some one once said to me when I asked the same question:
'Never. Welcome to Motherhood.'

Re: When will I stop worrying????
I was really crazy when I first found out. But now, it's been a few weeks and I stopped waiting for the other show to drop. Miscarriage is not the norm and until I have signs that there is a problem, I'm not going to worry. Take comfort in the signs that you are pregnant and get to the physician. My severe nausea tells me everything is fine as did my physician in a sonogram.

Guess you're right that's its not the norm and I have no signs of miscarriage. I just think this cramping freaks me out sometimes even though it's normal (I am only4&1/2 weels). I am always checking for blood (sorry it TMI).
I will try to relax and enjoy the process.

I used to worry like that too...when I first started to feel movement in my belly I was reassured but then somedays I wouldn't feel much movement and get worried but I guess he was just relaxing in there!! I'm sure everything will be fine...don't stress and congratulations!

Re: When will I stop worrying????
My worrying has decreased a lot now that I'm starting my 3rd month. Of course I'm naturally still worrying, but a lot less than I did in the beginning.

Re: When will I stop worrying????
I worry like CRAZY (and the internet doesn't help)!!!!!!! Every little thing I feel I think something is wrong from miscarriage, ectopic preg., etc. My DH thinks I'm nuts and wants to take the computer away from me .
We have our first appt on Monday so I'm praying everything will be fine and I will be put at ease (at least for a little while)
