personally, i am waiting to see my fi at the ceremony. I like the suspence!
Anyone seeing their fi b4 the ceremony? if so, why did you choose so?

We are seeing each other for the first time at Old Westbury Gardens before the ceremony. I was a little disappointed bc I originally wanted to see him at the ceremony first but my DOC and photog are setting up a 'special' first sight at the gardens. I also think seeing FH will make me feel more relaxed. It also easier to get the pics out of the way. There is NO WAY I am missing the CH!

Same for me too... but the only thing is I won't attend my CH... we will make one big entrance during the reception.

i'm seeing him before the ceremony to get pictures out of the way because we want to be able to go to the CH to say our hellos and thank-yous so that we can enjoy the reception...just because we see each other before the ceremony doesn't mean that its going to take away from that moment we see each other when i walk down the aisle

We are going to try and first see eachother at ceremony-but we also want to enjoy some of our cocktail hour-maybe we will have a 1/2 between ceremony and CH to try and get some shots out of the way.

FH isn't allowed to see me until I walked down the aisle! He said it'll be more special that way and I always pictured it being that way too!

while i really wanted the first time to be when the doors open and i walk down the aisle---due to our time constraints, we are taking pics b4 the ceremony. (since we have a daytime wedding & reception immediately following)

i still think that moment will be special anyway.

MEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! : We dont want to miss CH. We are having our ceremony at the RH and didnt want to rush around taking pics in between the ceremony and reception. We have so many OOT guests that we want to see.

Also, I loovvee the idea of an intimate moment where we see each other for the first time behind closed doors. Its such a beautiful, private moment that I personally dont want to do before our 100 guests.

ditto on everything. Getting married at hall, want many pics, eat at ch, and many OOT guests

Since we will be at a resort, it might be hard....but we are waiting for the ceremony! I might have to do some dodging behind plants if I unexpectidly am where he is...or else carry a huge sombrero with me to hide behind at all times
